Over the years I have fallen in love with intimate weddings. I've come to realize that these days are a direct reflection of each couple and what is most important to them. In fact, I've fallen so in love with them, that I even planned my own intimate wedding in 2023. I can confirm - it is SO worth it. My goal is to help you plan the wedding day you envision - whatever that may look like. From private vows in the middle of a vineyard, to "I do's" with views of the mountains, you name it and I can help make it happen. Based in New Hampshire but willing to travel.

My favorite part about being a wedding photographer is seeing how each couple creates a day that is uniquely theirs.

The wedding industry has changed quite a bit over the years, maybe it’s a result of covid times, or maybe it’s just that people have decided that there are more important things than following the “rules” of a traditional wedding.

One thing is for sure though, I love this little niche of the industry that I’ve found. Working with couples who say fuck it to the norms and create a day that THEY want, not their family or their parents, no matter what that looks like.

It was a perfect fall day at Breakheart Reservation, complete with little giggles, adorable smiles, and the cutest pups you've ever seen.

Lauren was a friend since high school and I was lucky enough to capture her love story with Andrew just last year. I know it sounds cliche, but Lauren really did have one of those personalities that sucked you in and you couldn’t get enough of. She was so kind and sweet, and always lent a listening ear. She was upbeat and always making you laugh. I’m gonna miss that big, big smile and contagious laugh.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned growing up in New England it’s that you’ve gotta just go for it, regardless of the weather.

Ask potential photographers to see a FULL gallery. Remember, what you're seeing on social media and websites are a highlight reel. And though it's important to fall in love with their shooting and editing style, you want to make sure you fall in love with ALL of it. From reception and difficult lighting scenarios to posing and formal portraits.. every part of your day is worth telling and deserves as much care as those beautiful portraits.

This is my summer intern, Maya.

I spent the last few months getting to know her and teaching her the ropes of entrepreneurship. It was such a humbling experience, truly bringing me back to my "why" and the reason I started Captured in the first place.

See, in school they teach you things like camera basics and skills, design principles and more. But they don't teach you about relationships.. about learning lessons the hard way, and that owning a business isn't just days off whenever you'd like. But that's the stuff that I wanted to teach Maya.

Watching her learn and step into her confidence with her work was really fucking cool. In our time together, Maya established the contracts, systems and nitty gritty details of starting her own business. She experimented with her shooting and editing style. She even rebranded her business to reflect the direction she wants to take things in the future.

When Maya had originally reached out to me about taking on a summer intern, I was in disbelief. What the heck would I have to teach her? It brought me back to how far I've come. It reminded me that I took my business full time to be able to nurture and serve my clients, and give them ALL of my attention. It helped me to delegate tasks (hello control freak!) And lastly, it brought me a new friend who will soon enter this crazy industry and know just how to find her footing.

I cannot wait to continue to watch Maya grow and flourish, no matter what direction she decides to go after school! I'm so grateful she trusted me to show her the ropes.
